Instead of becoming more engaged I was exasperated by it at about pg 700. I kept thinking I could have read three novels in the time it took me to wade through this. If I hadn’t finished it I would probably had given it two and a half stars but the conclusion did show the Auster’s intention and his dedication to his thought experiment.
